Adopt-a-School Program

The AFCEA NOVA Adopt-a-School program provides adopted schools with funding, resources, and personnel to improve hands-on scientific education.

We provide personnel that are utilized by teachers, administrators and students to provide practical guidance, daily experiences and project mentoring/judging as needed by these adopted schools.

Let's get our kids excited about science!

2 Ways to Get Involved

Nominate a Local School

Building on the successes of the Adopt-a-School program's launch in January 2011, we are seeking nominations for more schools to support.

Do you know of a local school that needs support? Nominate them for the Adopt-a-School program

Become an Adopt-A-School POC

We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as Adopt-A-School POCs. You will work directly with a local school to help match resources to their needs.

Interested? Please fill out our short application

Local schools have made the following requests for 2012 -- please feel free to contact the POC listed for more information or to volunteer.
