AFCEA NOVA has chosen these counties to define the Greater Washington Area, based on the merger of information from the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
If a jurisdiction appeared on either list, we included it to cast a wider net. Although it's not a perfect definition, we believe that it is an objective standard by which we can define our region. If you do not live in these counties, there are still AFCEA-related scholarship opportunities for you.
We suggest you check-out the AFCEA International Scholarships, as well as scholarships from the MD Chapters of AFCEA. See more info at www.afcea.org
