AFCEA NOVA is proud to announce its co-sponsorship of the 10th annual Heroines in Technology gala presented by the March of Dimes
Heroines in Technology (HiT) recognizes and honors women in the field of technology for their dedication to community service. HiT brings the regional health and technology communities together to recognize outstanding women for their contributions to the community and their professions.
AFCEA NOVA is excited to partner with March of Dimes to support this worthy cause.
How You Can Help
Since inception, March of Dimes – whose primary work is supporting infant health initiatives -- has always relied on partners in the technology industry for support and nominations.
As an AFCEA supporter, there are three ways you can help:
Nominate a Heroine
HiT presents five awards, including the new Government Heroine award sponsored by AFCEA. Nominations for this special new award are open through September 15.

Volunteer to Support the Gala
We’re looking for volunteers to support day of event activities, planning, sponsorships and the silent auction. If you would like to learn more, contact Helaine Cooper at helaine.cooper@afceanova.org
Attend the Event or Sponsor a Table
The 10th Annual Heroines in Technology gala will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, November 12, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston. This black-tie gala will include a cocktail reception, dinner and live and silent auctions.
Individual tickets are $250. Tables of 10 begin at $5,000. To purchase individual seats and tables online, click Register Now (above). Several sponsorship opportunities are available, ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.
