Transforming the Army Enterprise to Support the Warfighter
Balancing Efficiency and Effectiveness in Uncertain Times
Once again, AFCEA NOVA will host an information packed Army IT Day at the Sheraton Premier in Tyson’s Corner on December 9, 2010. This is the 10th Annual Army IT Day and has become a “must attend” conference for anyone interested in doing IT business with the Army.
Among the topics to be presented are: critical changes taking place as the Army approaches transformation of the Army Enterprise to Support the Warfighter; the Army-wide strategy to transform LandWarNet to an enterprise architecture; an update on the Army’s progress on executing new IT initiatives; the Army’s challenges in maintaining and defending the network; and, the Army’s acquisition strategies to shorten the requirement and acquisition cycle.
Event Cosponsor: Signal Corps Regimental Association
AFCEA NOVA is proud to co-sponsor Army IT Day with the Signal Corps Regimental Association.
SCRA is a private, nonprofit organization that provides an opportunity for all active, reserve, and national guard, officers, warrant officers, enlisted members and civilians, as well as any former members of the Signal Corps to aid in preserving for posterity the proud heritage of the U.S. Army Signal Corps Regiment, and Signal units throughout the world.
