IT Day: Building the Army’s Warfighter Enterprise of 2020 is the 2011 “must attend” Northern Virginia IT conference for anyone doing business with the Army. Last year’s event was attended by over 900 Government and Industry professionals. Topics to be covered this year include:
- The Army’s Network of 2020 initiatives and the critical changes it will drive across the enterprise
- How the Network Integration Evaluation (NIE) is accelerating capabilities delivered to the Warfighter
- An update on the Army’s transition to DISA provided email
- The Army’s challenges in maintaining and defending the network
- Discussions and updates of small business opportunities presented by Program Managers and acquisition professionals

AFCEA NOVA is proud to co-sponsor Army IT Day with the Signal Corps Regimental Association.
SCRA is a private, nonprofit organization that provides an opportunity for all active, reserve, and national guard, officers, warrant officers, enlisted members and civilians, as well as any former members of the Signal Corps to aid in preserving for posterity the proud heritage of the U.S. Army Signal Corps Regiment, and Signal units throughout the world.
SCRA works to enhance the Regiment’s ability to recruit officers and warrant officers, recognize Regiment’s NCO leaders during their NCOES, and contribute to events that encourage the community of our Regiment. The SCRA works to ensure the lessons of history and proud traditions of the Signal Regiment are not forgotten.
