Mentor Protégé Night is focused on helping to develop the future leaders of both industry and government. The event brings together emerging leaders and seasoned professionals to connect, share ideas, and generate the next level of leaders in the federal IT industry.

The Mentor Protégé Night will be held at Maggiano’s restaurant in Tyson’s Corner, VA. Registration will start at 5:30, followed by Networking from 6:00 to 7:00 and dinner from 7:00 to 9:00.

The theme of this mentor protege night is "Learn Through Experience: Good, bad and the ugly."

This event will be structured differently than in the past. Instead of a series of formal presentations, we will provide table topics that we hope will encourage productive and helpful dialogue between mentors and mentees.

As a seasoned professional in the industry, we would appreciate you spending the evening with our Young AFCEANs to share your experience and perspective on navigating career challenges.

The main purpose is to help impress on individuals what they need to do to become successful and how to lay the groundwork for that success. It is our goal to help build a foundation for a future mentor/protégé relationships that will extend beyond the one night event.

Young AFCEAN members are the future leaders of our the industry and it will be through the valuable guidance of mentors like you that they will be able to succeed!
