On Saturday, February 11th, 2012, AFCEA NOVA will host the thirty-first edition of the annual AFCEA-NOVA Valentine's Ball. This year's Ball will be held at the elegant Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.

For over 30 years, the Valentine’s Ball has been one of the premiere social events in Washington, DC.

The Ball brings together nearly 700 industry, military, and Federal Government telecommunications and IT professionals, including their spouses, in an elegant, fun social environment.

In addition, the Ball is an opportunity for Industry partners to reinforce their commitment to the community. This year, as in the past, any surplus funds from the Valentine’s Ball go towards educational scholarships through the AFCEA NOVA Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are available to students studying the hard sciences including mathematics, information technology, computer science, and others.

Entertainment by the Victory Belles

AFCEA NOVA is delighted to have entertainment provided by The Victory Belles, a charming vocal trio who will take you on a nostalgic journey through World War II-era musical classics. Enjoy a trip down memory lane with their spirited performances of such hits as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Don’t Sit under the Apple Tree, Chattanooga Choo Choo and I’ll Be Seeing You, all sung in rich, three part harmony. The Victory Belles perform often at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans and at special events around the world.

The Victory Belles are proud the keep the music of the 1940s alive and to salute our veterans in song!
