Fall 2011 Educational Grant Application
AFCEA NOVA accepts grant requests throughout the year from organizations and individuals that promote STEM education. The AFCEA NOVA Education and Grant Committee applies formal process to evaluate these requests and award grants twice a year.
All organizations are encouraged to apply, however those in Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudon County, Price Williams County, Stafford County and cities that border these counties (including Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, Manassas and Manassas Park) will be given preference.
The schedule for the process is as follows:
- Outreach/advertizing September
- Grant Requests Collected October
- Grant Evaluation November
- Grant Distribution December
- Outreach/advertizing Mid Apr/May
- Grant Requests Collected Mid May
- Grant Evaluation June
- Grant Distribution July
Grant funding availability is based on the Chapter’s budget and actual financial performance.
The deadline for Fall 2011 applications is November 3, 2011 - deadline extended!
