LTG Susan Lawrence Gives Keynote Address at IT Day
LTG Susan Lawrence was the keynote speaker for our annual IT Day focused on the Army. It was another successful event with almost 900 people attending.
LTG Lawrence discussed the new environment based upon current budgets and emphasized that life is different. She said that the Army must be cost conscious and the need to partner with industry to meet the mission of the Army and the mission of our nation in this economic crisis.
The goals of Army must meet the goals of the nation. Everything must be done to carry on beyond current assignments. She also recognized that this is hard to do after 10 yrs of OCO funding. She is applying the rules for success by encouraging people to be the person who finds a way and be solutions oriented.
