The STAR Program is AFCEA NOVA’s seminar series for Government/Military employees that are in the process of career transition.

The event will offer attendees the opportunity to gain insights and lessons learned from others who have successfully made the transition.

It also offers networking opportunities with program managers, hiring managers, and staffing professionals.

This breakfast event is for our officer and enlisted members who are either retiring or leaving government service for the private sector in the next 12 -18 months, and is intended to build upon the information provided by the Government transition assistance programs. The event will offer attendees the opportunity to gain insights and lessons learned from others who have successfully made the transition. It also offers networking opportunities with program managers, hiring managers, and staffing professionals.

After the Military Government Career Transition program, please join our event sponsor ClearedJobs.Net for a Cleared Job Fair for professionals with an active or current security clearance from 11am-3pm in the Crystal Ballroom of the Doubletree Crystal City, also on May 8.

Cleared Job Fair exhibitors are cleared facilities employers such as Engility, General Dynamics-IT, Geneva Software, HP, Leidos, Parsons, Tanager, Verizon-FNS and more.

Available throughout the event will be short one-on-one Resume Reviews with a career counselor from 11am-3pm and briefings on Security Clearance Reinvestigations at 10:30am and 12:30pm. Pre-register at http://Clearedjobs.Net.
