"The Joint Fight -- Mission Success through Cyberspace"

Air Force IT Day is an annual one-day conference focused on issues and challenges facing the future Air Force. Senior leaders will describe the Air Force vision, operational requirements, acquisition strategies and potential opportunities for industry.

This program will offer you an outstanding opportunity to learn firsthand about the difficult challenges facing our Air Force and how IT/Cyber capabilities can play a major role in meeting those challenges. We have lined up a power packed program of speakers who will tell you about current events in Air Force IT/Cyber today and the Air Force vision with requirements for the future.  This year’s theme is: The Joint Fight -- Mission Success through Cyberspace.

This is a rare opportunity for you to hear first hand from distinguished Air Force leaders about their vision for the future, the shortfalls of their current capabilities, cyberspace warfare directions and requirements, their plans for executing the cyberspace mission, emerging technologies they need, their acquisition strategies, and specific programs of direct interest to IT/Cyber professionals.

The program also will include a panel of distinguished requirements experts from across the Air Force including Air Force Space Command, the Electronics Systems Center, AFMC/PEO, and the Air Staff.  There will also be a special Small Business session on new business opportunities and networking with attending systems integrators. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

There are many important policy and program activities underway that will have a profound influence on the direction of future Air Force war fighter capabilities leading to greater efficiencies and effectiveness. Our distinguished speakers will give you important insights into:
  • The distinctive Air Force Cyber capabilities needed to meet the challenges of a global force
  • The changes necessary to improve efficiency while retaining and growing our combat power, flexibility, agility, and global reach
  • The growing cyber threat and the capabilities needed to meet and defeat that threat
  • The tools, techniques and procedures necessary to maintain our superior global networking and information dominance capabilities
  • The role of the Air Force in the evolution of the Joint Information Environment (JIE)
  • Challenges that the potential sequestration will present in acquisition and capabilities
  • Organizational changes being implemented to strengthen and sustain modern IT capabilities and to acquire needed services and products
  • How new technologies such as cloud computing, mobility, social media, etc can lead to improvements in meeting the rapidly changing threat
If you are an industry executive, business developer, sales and marketing manager, technical design specialist, or just someone (military, government civilian or industry professional) who wants to learn more about future Air Force IT/Cyber directions, then Air Force IT Day is for you.  This one day event will help you understand the needs of the Air Force, where you can help, and how this can help grow your business. Mark your calendars and register now for this powerhouse day. It will be well worth your time and provide a solid return on your investment.
