Leveraging Technology to Achieve Force
Dominance Across the Services
AFCEA NOVA is proud to host our 6th annual information packed Joint Warfighter IT Day on Thursday, September 12. This IT Day complements our Military Service specific IT Days by focusing on the critical role of technology in supporting the Joint Warfighter. Our theme for this year’s conference is Leveraging Technology to Achieve Force Dominance Across the Services.
This one-day conference provides the opportunity to hear from the Defense organizations engaged in vital combat IT and systems support to the warfighter. The program highlights Defense Agencies and Commands acquiring and providing information dominance services to the warfighter. Our speakers address missions, requirements, challenges, strategies and potential procurements that are of direct interest to the audience participants.
AFCEA NOVA Warfighter IT Day allows attendees to directly engage with senior DOD leaders as they share their insights into current issues, priorities, philosophies, directives and goals that are driving warfighter support systems planning, acquisition, and sustainment. This is an outstanding opportunity to personally meet these senior Defense leaders and to "plant the seeds" for future visits to their staffs. Additionally, you will learn what other companies are doing with these warfighter agencies, which can foster partnership opportunities.
You will learn about
- DOD priorities and what is driving those priorities
- Opportunities available to support new and innovative approaches to warfighter support
- Types of solutions DOD needs
- Expected programs coming online in the next two years
- Challenges the DOD faces in providing Information Dominance to the Joint warfighter and how industry can help
- How industry can continue to work with the DOD to ensure successful implementation of new information technologies and the ultimate battlefield success of the warfighter
Warfighter IT Day also assists small businesses to better understand how they can be successful in the current environment and provides opportunities for sharing capabilities and “networking” with both government and industry partners.
Given today’s budget challenges and the ever-increasing pace of technological innovation, the 6th Annual AFCEA NOVA Warfighter IT Day is a must-attend conference providing technical and program information for anyone starting or continuing to do business with Defense Department Agencies, Combatant Commands and other warfighting support organizations.
