This session will provide attendees a detailed look at the Government evaluation process and how source selection teams evaluate proposals in an LPTA and a best value trade-off environment. The speaker will discuss the intricacies of best value trade-off and how the Government weighs technical and price factors. Based on these two evaluation methods, the session will cover specific proposal strategies that will enhance a bidder’s chance of receiving a higher technical rating in a best value trade-off evaluation. Specifically, this will entail how to develop the most useful proposal management tools, how to effectively run kick-off meetings and color reviews, and how to execute a sequential writing process to reduce re-writing and color review recovery efforts.

Senior Navy and Marine Corps leaders will discuss their needs, how the Defense budget impacts their plans, and how industry can help craft the solutions needed to enable the warfighter in a resource constrained environment. Navy and Marine Corps leaders have been asked to discuss current initiatives to maintain their programs in light of budget uncertainty, and how they will implement the latest guidance from the Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Navy.

This session provides an easy to apply strategy for conducting a Price to Win including when to do one, how to conduct one efficiently, and how to develop the analysis that will support your overall bid strategy. Presented by Red Team Consulting, we will teach you how to apply financial modeling and competitive analysis to create an effective Price to Win (PTW) strategy. We will walk through how to develop a detailed, results based assessment of the price that your competitors are likely to bid and the technical strategies they will use to win the contract. In this seminar, attendees will learn about determining your competitors’ likely pricing strategies and identifying ways to provide a lower price and better value.

AFCEA NOVA, the largest AFCEA Chapter, is in the process of planning the Washington DC area premiere golf tournament for 2016.

AFCEA NOVA offers a wide variety of exclusive and joint sponsorships for the Annual Golf Tournament to match any budget. The net proceeds from our tournament will be added to the AFCEA Scholarship Fund. We thank you in advance for your continuing support.

In order to comply with AFCEA NOVA’s ethical regulations, all military and government personnel will be randomly paired for this golf tournament. Players will be assigned to groups based on industry or government affiliation and the player's handicap provided during registration. We will attempt to honor requests to pair industry twosomes together or in the same grouping, however we cannot guarantee any specific pairings.
