Accessible, Reliable, Resilient and Secure Communication Networks for Disaster Preparedness

In times of natural or manmade disasters, ready-to-use technology enabling information sharing can mean the difference between life and death. The lessons learned from previous disasters have made federal, state and local agencies look outside of their comfort zone and truly assess their requirements for the continuity of operations that must occur when the rest of the infrastructure is in a state of failure.

In the light of an upcoming hurricane season upon us, the panel of government emergency response experts will evaluate their state of preparedness against requirements for disaster events and discuss the steps the government together with the industry is taking to put in place the infrastructure that enables instant information sharing and collaboration across all emergency response community.
