SIGNAL Magazine Update: Awards Recognize Outstanding Chapter Members
The chapter's May Young AFCEAN Award winner is Amy Earnest. She is a business development associate at NOVA Corporation, a Navajo Nation-owned (tribal) 8(a) company providing information technology and telecommunications services. Earnest has been an active chapter volunteer for almost every event, including the luncheons, every IT Day, the Golf Committee, the Mentor/Protégé Committee and anywhere else she is needed. In addition, she accomplishes all these tasks by travelling from Pennsylvania. The May Super NOVA recipient is Dave Fraley. After returning from being deployed in Afghanistan, Fraley was instrumental to the success of this year's Army IT Day. He was a key driver for the theme and program description and acquiring high-level speakers. His dedication to the Army IT Day Committee ensured that the chapter presented relevant content and speakers to its members. He has also been a standing member of the annual Valentine's Ball Committee.
